Who can participate in the programme?

The programme is aimed at space and non-space professionals (with at least several years of working experience) and entrepreneurs who want to grow their management skills and know-how, who want to understand how the space sectors and space assets offer new business opportunities and offers new business models, and who want to kickstart their career in the space sector.

A good command of English, both in speaking and in writing, is required. Preferably applicants have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent university education. Business education is not required. However, having several years of relevant business experience is considered an asset. You can expect to meet an international, diverse, and multidisciplinary cohort eager to develop new space ventures.

Programme dates

We have now introduced the opportunity for rolling applications so participants can join from either the first or the second module, with the deadline being the month prior to the start of the module. For Module 1, this is February 13th and for Module 2, this is April 30th.

The upcoming programme takes place on:

  • Module 1: Explore From March 13th to 17th, 2023, at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
  • Module 2: Launch From May 30th to June 2nd, 2023, at Nova School of Business and Economics in Portugal.
  • Module 3: Accelerate – From September 25th to 27th at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands.
  • Followed directly by the ESA Touchdown – From September 28th to 29th at European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
